A&L Construction & Redi-Mix began delivering top-quality ready mix concrete to customers and contractors in 1990. What started as a small operation rooted in Melrose Park, IL, has grown steadily over the years, expanding to serve the greater Chicagoland area. Today, our reach extends across numerous counties, including Lake, Cook, DuPage, McHenry, Kane, and beyond, allowing us to deliver exceptional service and materials to much of Northeast Illinois.
As a proud second-generation, family-owned ready mix manufacturer, we understand the importance of providing reliable, durable, and consistent concrete solutions. With our first set of mixers, we were able to now pick up from local plants to service our projects.
The original plan was to just start our own plant to use for our own projects, but like the old adage goes, things don't always go to plan. Instead, we started servicing customers all across Chicago and the Chicagoland suburbs.
