Ready Mix

Ready mix concrete (RMC) is a versatile construction material that is manufactured in our batching plants according to specific mix designs and then delivered to construction sites. There are several types of ready mix concrete we provide, each tailored to meet the requirements of different construction applications. Here are descriptions of our most commonly ordered types:

    • Normal strength concrete is the most commonly used type of ready mix concrete. It typically has a compressive strength ranging from 2,500 to 6,000 pounds per square inch (psi).
    • NSC is suitable for a wide range of general-purpose applications, including foundations, slabs, columns, beams, and sidewalks.
  • High strength concrete is designed to achieve compressive strengths exceeding those of normal strength concrete, often ranging from 6,000 to 14,000 psi.
  • HSC is used in applications where superior strength and durability are required, such as high-rise buildings, bridges, and heavy-duty industrial structures.
  •
    • Lightweight concrete is formulated with lightweight aggregates, such as expanded shale, clay, or slate, to reduce its density and weight while maintaining adequate strength.
    • This type of concrete is suitable for applications where weight reduction is desirable, such as in precast concrete elements, floor and roof toppings, and insulation panels.
  • Self-consolidating concrete is designed to flow and spread effortlessly under its own weight without the need for mechanical vibration, making it ideal for congested reinforcement and complex formwork.
  • SCC is commonly used in applications where achieving high-quality surface finishes and intricate shapes is essential, such as architectural concrete and precast elements.
  • Fiber-reinforced concrete contains discrete fibers, such as steel, synthetic, or natural fibers, which enhance its toughness, ductility, and resistance to cracking.
  • FRC is used in applications requiring improved crack resistance and durability, such as pavements, overlays, and earthquake-resistant structures.
